Too much

Been long not heard nor seen any hide from me innit. Actually last week was consumed with lots of anger and sleeplessness and worry and all sorts. So I didn’t wanna talk about it on my blog… it was too negative.

Anyway, there are three things I’m bursting to say as of now:
1.      My body is in bad NEED of waxing. Notice I haven’t been wearing anything that doesn’t cover the whole length of my legs.
2.      I’m surprised that people are surprised when I open my mouth and talk.
3.      BAG SHOPPING WAS UNSUCCESSFUL!! L

First first… it can’t be that bad can it? OF COURSE IT CAN’T!
But bad news first, shall I?

Well, I was so pipingly fumingly MAD with my boyfriend. I’m not gonna blame him, coz I know I’m wrong as well. Thing is, I felt that things between us had gotten so so so boring and he keeps forgetting things that he as a boyfriend should remember. I was livid. I’m not gonna trash talk him on my blog, coz you guys don’t have to know it and I don’t need to embarrass him. But yeah, I’m the worst sort of girlfriend. I mean, I need surprises, I need attention, and I have very very high expectations. And I’m hard on the boyfriend that fails to live it up to what I want. So anyway, don’t bother about this paragraph, unless you are my boyfriend or plan to be, or plain concerned. Talking about plain, that word is not on my vocabulary, especially when its vocabulary for relationships, food, and life.

Anyway, my long delayed POB presentation did quite well (if I may say so myself) on Thursday. I stuttered less, remembered more things that I was supposed to say, and didn’t lose my sanity from it. I’ve always hated presentations but you know what, I practiced it this time. Like how Joey ‘trained’ me and the rest of our RFP group. That training has since traumatized me, or I should say, IMPROVED my presentation skills. Her method of training: back facing slides, no reading from it, and do mock presentations in the very public computer lab. And she would be staring daggers at you if u messed up or forgot your words. Got timing also one! And this time, she told me it was the best presentation I ever gave, and she was also one of the evaluators. She told me she gave me full marks for either content or presentation style. My Shifu and used-to-be critic J

And then, on Friday and Saturday Joey and Sudhan came over to my house to shoot our scenes for IDM group assignment. Friday was fully at my house, and we spent the first  few hours on our props and pre-shooting documents. We only ate breakfast and had no lunch, but I didn’t feel the hunger. I was too preoccupied with the shooting until around 6pm. I only realized how hungry I was when we finished the whole shoot!

On Saturday, we went to Joey’s house for her shooting, Sudhan was her model. I’ve always liked her house… coz its in a gated community, and lots of security and calm in the surroundings. And she has a very nice house! Her mum is into gardening and there are mini gardens here and there, there is a wide HD TV with surround sound speakers, and there are these wooden sliding doors with glass windows leading from living room to the dining room. Her dining table is marble, and the chairs are made of a certain wood, and so heavy that I can barely move it! And she has two huge drawers filled with snacks and goodies. Plus, not to mention, all kinds of warm drinks for us to choose from! Her mum was so nice to us, and made us sit to eat and drink before our shooting. Then she wanted to give us a whole tin of mooncakes to take with us when we were leaving for our next location. But Joey told her we only needed one.

Our next location was this exclusive, beautiful and modern area called Desa Parkcity. It was next door to Joey’s housing area. Desa Parkcity is on this hill, and consists of million dollar condominiums and multi million dollar houses, which according to Sudhan, are mostly inhabited by Koreans. Joey said you gotta make an appointment if you are visiting residents there, and that there are security checks in the area every 5 minutes. And also, horse riding would be available in that area soon. I was like… WOW. Someday, I would have a nice house too. And the coolest thing is, Desa Parkcity has its own MALL! With its own Jusco, sidewalk cafes, and other stuff too! Its like a mini Citymall (Kota Kinabalu), only so much more chic! Amazing. We went to the equally breathtaking park, and the moment I stepped out of the car, I felt like… I was in another country. The park was breathtaking, HUGE. With lots of grees hills and plants, and idyllic little paths around a big and clean lake. The weather was so cool and breezy, and the skies were grey. I always thought the park nearby my house was beautiful, but it immediately was reduced to a Kampung Girl compared to this Majestic Beauty.

Unfortunately, it rained and we had to abandon our shooting plans. So we ended up celebrating mooncake festival under a pondok with a canvas roof and cold metal reclining benches, with sizzling green tea. I felt like I was in love. After our tea party, we had to leave for my house, because Sudhan had to reshoot. All three of us shared an umbrella against the rain and cold breeze. It was so FUN. When we got back into the car, we were all so hyper and started singing to Joey’s Greatest Hits Love Songs. We began dancing and I started recording ourselves but the lighting screwed the whole thing up. After wrapping up all the shooting (which ended at the now really forlorn and graceless park near my house), we sent Sudhan to the Paramount LRT then Joey and I went searching for LUNCH. We ended up at an Ipoh restaurant in paramount, where I had a craving for a Yong Tau Foo meal that cost me RM 15.90. I wished we had ate at KFC instead. But couldn’t do anything about it could I?

After directing Joey back onto her familiar roads, I found my own way home, and I was INCREDIBLY exhausted that I slept till 8PM. On Thursday I only slept at 5am and woke up at 8am am for the shooting and few hours of sleep on Friday night. I woke up with a start and checked the time… I jumped out of bed and ran for the kitchen.  I hoped they didn’t forget leaving me some dinner! They usually knock on my door when its dinner (around 7pm) so I was afraid I didn’t respond and they thought I was still out. But the maid was just finishing her after-dinner chores. My aunt and cousins were eating out and my uncle was out Hashing, I was informed. That night, I bathed around 12am and my boyfriend was listening to me shower, my loudspeaker was on. I wanted to try something new J LOL he was at an outstation talk and his roommate woke up when I started making high pitched sounds to purposely annoy him because he said his loudspeaker was turned on by his bed. HAHAHA. After settling in bed, I read Gone until I fell asleep. I love Saturday nights.

These are pictures i took from Saturday before napping:

The sun shone in unusually this afternoon... Maybe i never noticed but finally i did.

When i tied up my hair, i noticed the shape of the earring prominent against the sunlit background.

Today, I was so tired that I fell asleep in church during homily. I was dreaming, sleeping, and listening at the same time. I’m gifted in some ways ;) Was alone at church coz Arlena is back in KK, so on the way to church in LRT was reading Gone, before church service began was reading, and while waiting for my food at the New Ipoh Chicken Rice Shop was reading as well. The Kuey Teow soup there is splendid as usual. With soft kuey teow in piping hot soup with chicken pieces in it, it’s the closest thing to home cooked food. Its only RM4.00 and so filling. Had Iced Chinese Tea which amounted my meal to RM 4.50. This is what I enjoy about KL food… you can never find food for such a low price in KK.

Went straight to Midvalley after my lunch. Bag hunting that turned out unsuccessful. But I did buy some clothes =) and they were CHEAP! So Jessica!

First shop I went into was Chala. It is a shop I would recommend for shoppers like myself who like quality and fun clothes with affordable price tags. Was leafing through their racks of clothes and studying all the designs. I tried on three pieces of blouses, and I bought one. I love it coz it is RED, hugs my body, and has ¾ sleeves! Something I’ve always wanted!

Awesome, no? I love it through and through. Notice the tribal print on the bottom left of the blouse. RM 45 :o

It even looks nice on its own!

Looks like a messy pattern of flowers, tadpoles, and power ranger mask.

Second item I bought was a blue-grey sleeveless blouse from The Pink Pussycat (one of my favourites, too). What I loved about it was it was ROCK BOTTOM CHEAP and had beads on the shoulder area, with a string zig-zagging at the V neck neckline. Here it is:

How could one not fall for it?

This baby is only RM 15! WHAT A STEAL!

The bead work is so red indian. And the string is so cowboy. Its a Marriage :)

I did look for Bags in every imaginable bag shop in Midvalley. I tried all the sports shops right down to the bag stalls. Well there was one brown leather at one of those stalls along ground floor on the way to the Gardens. Being the indecisive person I am, I picked it up, looked at it, then put it back. And this bunch of two ladies grabbed it. Ok, I should have held on to it coz they bought it immediately. WTF. I thought that RM 70 for such a medium-small bag wasn’t worth it. But I realized that it was leather, and that it has resistant material. What a dummy Jessica is. Anyway, my next bag shopping will be in Sunway Pyramid. Unless someone suggests another mall that has better choices?

I spent a lot of time looking at Lingerie. In La Senza, I was contemplating if I should get anything, coz they are all so cute and I can’t resist. So La Senza is still in my KIV (Keep In View) list. Then I was en-amoured by XiXiLi and Sloggi. Sigh. I am such a sinner. I already am planning my next ‘what-to-buy’ list for the Intimates.

Anyway, that’s my hectic weekend for you guys. I hope my next post will be one of more substance after recovering from exhaustion. And hopefully by then I would have waxed my legs ;)
